Homes for sale remain scarce and all areas but Lynden had a decrease in the number of new homes on the market in July. Prices increased across the county with the exception again being Lynden, which saw a slight decrease of 4.8% from the previous month.

July average sales prices and their change over the previous year were as follows:

  • Sudden Valley: $349,000 (up 13.3%)
  • Bellingham: $475,000 (up 15.9%)
  • Lynden: $380,000 (up 5.3%)
  • Ferndale: $428,000 (up 19.6%) 

The average number of days on market decreased in all areas except Ferndale which was at 47 days on market in July.
