It's July 2021, & that means we are officially half-way through the year! As expected, the real estate market has been as hot as ever. We are continuing to see low inventory, & historically low mortgage rate. Properties are moving quickly, with just an average of 22 days on the market, and the Seller's Market continues its streak. All these factors combined are contributing to increasing sales prices, which averaged $627,000 in Whatcom County for the month of June. Bellingham listings were on the market for an average of 17 days - a 41% decrease from June 2021. The lack of inventory plays a large role in the increase of home prices. Home values rose through all Whatcom County markets - Ferndale saw the largest increase in average sold price with a 37% increase!

If the second half of your 2021 may involve buying or selling, now is a great time reach out to us for a free consultation to see how we can help you accomplish your goal!
