About Sommer Nyte

Sommer Nyte is a Managing Broker with RE/MAX Whatcom County, bringing more than a decade of real estate experience and over 20 years of marketing and technology expertise to her clients.

Sommer has called Whatcom County home since 2000 and has a long-standing connection to the community, including previously working for the Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism Bureau. Her interest in homes began much earlier and led her to minor in Architectural Studies at the University of Pittsburgh.

Since beginning her real estate career in 2015, Sommer has built her business around knowledgeable representation, strong communication, creative marketing and skilled negotiation. She has earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) designations. She is also a licensed contractor, holds a home staging certification and teaches real estate courses, giving her a unique perspective on homes that extends well beyond the transaction.

Sommer served as the 2023 President of the Whatcom County Association of REALTORS® and remains actively involved in the local real estate community. She earned the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award in 2020 and the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2026. She has also been recognized by RealTrends among Washington’s top-producing individual real estate agents.
